MDJ874 Solid State Timer

Description:

The MDJ874 series of solid state time delay switches are designed to be direct replacements for the following obsolete models, used in the CANDU nuclear power plants.

The MDJ874 timers are designed with solid state circuitry. The timer is based on a sixteen stage configurable binary counter, with an integral oscillator controlled by an external RC network. The output is a power transistor, which energizes the output at 48Vdc with a maximum current supply of 1 amp.

The timers are housed in a black ABS enclosure with an 8 pin octal plug. The plug is keyed to ensure proper alignment with the mounting base. The timer is secured to the base with a built in bracket and two mounting screws.
